Simply a Site

Simply a Site is a simple online portfolio for photographers and artists. It’s a simple way to show your photographs on your own site. Many of the services online cost $50 per month and others cost $1000 per year. Simply a Site costs is still in the works, but if you need a site, it can be done for a lot cheaper than that. The way it works is you save your images to be a certain size, send them over to me and boom, you have a website (in like a week).

It’s really a terrific way to show your photography. Perhaps you already have a website and would like another method of displaying photos; Simply a Site works perfect as this portfolio solution as well. I have many different portfolios and I don’t want all of them displayed in the same manner. Perhaps you just shot a wedding and you’d like to upload those photos.

Perhaps coming soon will be a paypal feature where you can charge customers for your images and get an email about this order. There are also several additions such as installing a wordpress blog on yoursite.com/blog. Then you will own all your content and it will not be given to tumblr or blogger.

The beauty of this site is how simple it is. There’s no gimmicks or silly stuff that can be seen on so many of the flash galleries out there. It an HTML based site that has flash object called on by an XML file (if you care to know).
