Whale Watching in Vancovuer

killer-whale-watching-vancouver2Watching whales is something that shouldn’t be missed in Vancouver. After seeing these animals in the water it reminded me of how much life the sea has to offer. We came across these whales away from the mouth of the Fraser River. There was a boat of whale watchers that was jetting out to sea. I highly recommend going through a whale watching company, because they know exactly where the whales are and can give insight to their socializing.

Vancouver Whale Watch would be my first choice. As you can see by their logo, killer whales are common in these parts. We saw approximately 20 whales all around our boat. The captain said that although he’d been coming out for years, this is his fourth time seeing whales. Another reason for a guided trip. Along the way out of the mouth of the Fraser, you will likely see a couple bald eagles. They are easiest to approach during the morning, because they’re still trying to warm up with the sun. Thanks for reading.

The killer whale doesn’t look like it wants to eat you… 2nd picture either… Now that Bald Eagle, 3rd pic… if you were of size it would. But for now it is too busy looking good. Good pics
