Palm Springs Photo Festival

My trip to the Palm Springs photo festival was absolutely great. I learned lots of photography and the business and met several excellent photographers. My favorite was Tom Paiva, a photographer of the Bay Area and LA area. I particularly like his night and city photos.

The thoughts I was left with about my chess project are:
Make more photographs
Tell the story more thoroughly
Learn more about what people have done with these kinds of photo project and how they put them together and presented them
Make it the hardest thing you’ve ever done, but still have fun
Look into city funded museums and libraries to show the work

On my way home, I stopped just before it got dark to take some 1/2 second exposures of the windmills near San Jacinto:
